Audrey Macie, director of operations at Noyle Johnson Insurance in Montpelier, has been named Vermont Member of the Year and awarded the inaugural Pat Murray Education Scholarship by the Vermont chapters of the International Association of Insurance Professionals.
Sponsored by New England Excess Exchange, the Member of the Year award is presented annually to one deserving Vermont IAIP member. The Murray Educational Scholarship, funded jointly by the IAIP and the Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals, is a $250 award to support continuing education classes in the insurance industry.
Macie has been in the insurance industry in various capacities for nearly 15 years. She is treasurer and education committee co-chair of VTAIP and formerly served as president, vice president and co-chair of both the membership and fundraising committees.
Macie will soon earn her Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist credentials and then plans to pursue the Certified Leadership Program Advanced designation while continuing work towards her CPCU designation.
