The Vermont Land Trust, a nonprofit environmental organization working to conserve productive, recreational and scenic lands, has announced the following hires: John Livingston, finance director; Krista Battles (pictured), geographic information systems specialist; Manon Francine-Pudvah, human resources administrator; Ryan Diehl, land acquisition specialist; and Sam Graulty, events manager.
“We are excited to welcome such a talented group of people to our team,” said President and CEO Tracy Zschau. “Their expertise and skills will help us do more to fulfill our mission of connecting land and lives.”
With a background in commercial real estate, law and agriculture, Livingston joined VLT in April after several decades working in finance and accounting. He has also served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
Battles' experience includes working in GIS and data management for the state of Vermont; as a farm nutrient management consultant in the private sector; and as a naturalist was with Stowe Land Trust and New York State Parks. At VLS, she will be creating maps and supporting data management.
Francine-Pudvah came to VLT in March with more than 20 years of human resources and business management experience in entrepreneurial and corporate cultures. She most recently served as HR administrator at Goddard College.
Diehl has held several roles focused on environmental and outdoor education. Prior to joining VLT in January, he owned and operated Downstream Enterprises, a premier vacation rental management company in the Mad River Valley.
Graulty joined VLT in April after serving as program coordinator at Generator Makerspace in Burlington for three years. He has also led outdoor programs and taught at an independent school.
