Vermont author Butch Waxe releases new romantic suspense novel

The latest book by Vermont author Butch Waxe, "Dog's Head Island," is now available in bookstores and online.

Published by Fulton Books, the romantic suspense novel follows the budding relationship between Paul Kennedy, the handsome police chief of Dog's Head Island, RI, who recently lost his rock-star wife in a plane crash, and Mary Beth Prouty, a beautiful and fun-loving summer resident of Dog's Head who has moved to the island full-time to open a jewelry shop.

What the pair don’t know, however, is that trouble has followed Prouty, and it’s soon clear to Kennedy that her life might be in danger. Though Prouty’s wealthy father may be the intended target, Kennedy suspects that the elder Prouty’s daughter may be an intended pawn.

"Dog's Head Island" is available in hardcover and paperback and for e-readers.
