VCWA announces addition to board of directors

The Vermont Council on World Affairs (VCWA) has announced the addition of David Clubb, Assistant Vice President for International Education at Norwich University to its board of directors.

Charged with promoting awareness and understanding of the world and its people through education and engagement, The VCWA serves as Vermont's primary host to international visitors and works with educational institutions, the business community and the public to develop programs for our community members.

"Our board of directors plays an important role in building awareness and understanding of world affairs through our educational programs, presentations and hosting delegates from around the world," said Dr. Gail Stevenson, VCWA's executive director. "David's public policy and advocacy efforts promoting advancement of international education go to the core of VCWA's mission. As Vermont's leading global educational non-profit, we are delighted to welcome David to our board and continue Norwich University's long-standing support of VCWA."

· David Clubb is the Assistant Vice President for International Education (AVPIE) at Norwich University where he provides senior leadership for the comprehensive internationalization of the university through alignment and integration of policies, programs, and initiatives designed to position the university as more globally oriented and internationally connected. Prior to starting his position at Norwich University in February 2014, David spent 18 years working in the field of international education in various capacities at the Johns Hopkins University and Medical Institutions, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Colorado (Denver Campus and Anschutz Medical Campus). David has traveled abroad extensively to over 30 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
