The Woodstock Inn & Resort has promoted Lauren Thompson, who has served as assistant controller since 2017, to controller and elevated her to the resort's leadership team. In her new position, Thompson oversees and serves as the point person for the inn's financial, accounting and banking operations, including audits; purchasing; annual operating and capital budgeting; and tax preparation.

“Lauren is a results-driven professional with a proven track record,” said Elaine Olson, interim president of the Woodstock Inn & Resort. “Over her six years on the resort team, she has implemented improvements to numerous areas, including payroll, credit card payment processing, allocation accounting, budgeting and reporting. We are confident Lauren will continue to thrive in this new leadership position.”
