Daniel Ori, former director of performance marketing for Hickory Farms in Chicago, has been named vice president of performance marketing at Vermont Teddy Bear, the largest seller of teddy bears by mail order and the internet. In his new role, Ori will lead digital paid media efforts and be responsible for driving sales across the company's brands.
At Hickory Farms, Ori led the company's digital marketing efforts for over six years, building out its digital capabilities, managing agencies and more than doubling the company's online business. His approach to digital leverages data and analytics, along with a balance of art and science to better understand the consumer.
Prior to Hickory Farms, Ori was manager of media and strategy for Digital, where managed paid search for Sprint and media strategy for TransUnion. He is a marketing and international business graduate of the University of Dayton.
