NRG Systems names Essex Junction resident as global sales manager

NRG Systems, Inc., manufacturer of wind measurement equipment, announces the promotion of Essex Junction resident Paul Dawson to the position of global sales manager. Dawson joined NRG Systems in the summer of 2008 as a sales account manager for North American markets. In that role, he managed existing accounts and business development for the company’s wind resource assessment and remote sensor customers.
“We’re thrilled that Paul has accepted our offer to serve as global sales manager,” said Barton Merle-Smith, NRG Systems’ director of marketing and sales. “He’s incredibly customer-focused and adept at providing solutions to meeting customer needs.”
Dawson came to NRG Systems from Management Recruiters of Burlington where he served as a senior executive search consultant, working with clients and C-level management from across the U.S. He holds a B.S. in geography and environmental science from McGill University and is fluent in both English and French. Outside of work, Paul is an avid cross-country skier, having competed on the Canadian race circuit from 1995-2000.
NRG Systems’ wind measurement equipment can be found on every continent in more than 140 countries, serving electric utilities, wind farm developers, research institutes, and government agencies.
