Robert Burnetti, General Manager for Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center, has announced the appointment of Michael Breen, CEC as the hotel’s new Executive Chef. In this role he will oversee the culinary operations for the award-winning property.
Most recently, Chef Breen was the Executive Chef of Okemo Mountain Resort and Jackson Gore Inn, Ludlow, VT. Breen oversaw the culinary operations for an upscale American cuisine restaurant, five casual food outlets and a full-service banquet facility.
Prior to his Executive Chef position at Okemo Chef Breen was the Executive Chef at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Delaware, Pennsylvania from 2000- 2003. In addition, he’s held a variety of culinary positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts including Banquet Chef at The Equinox Hotel, Manchester, VT; and Sous Chef and Banquet Chef at Westin Hotel Copley Place, Boston, MA.
Chef Breen is a graduate of the American Culinary Federation Apprenticeship Program and received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from C.W. Post College, NY. Chef Breen rejoins the Starwood family of hotels and resorts and will be living locally with his wife and two children.
