New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) recently named the three winners of the 2012 NEFCU Nursing Scholarships. Each year, NEFCU’s Nursing Scholarship Program provides three scholarships of $3000 to qualified applicants.
Shelburne resident Nitchamon Alexander is pursuing her LNA degree at Vermont Technical College and is currently employed at Fletcher Allen Health Care in the Peri-Operative Department.
Underhill resident Gayle Hagen-Peter is pursuing her Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Vermont. Gayle is the Care Coordinator for the Cardiovascular Unit at Fletcher Allen Health Care.
South Burlington resident Christa Weaver is a senior at South Burlington High School. Christa will be attending the University of Vermont in the fall.
