Racquel Oden, U.S. head of wealth and personal banking at the financial services company HSBC, has been elected to a three-year term on the National Life Group Board of Directors.
Oden has more than 25 years' experience in the financial services industry. In her role at HSBC, she is responsible for the delivery of wealth management, private banking, asset management and personal banking products and services in the U.S., targeted to internationally minded clients.

Oden is Chair of the board of directors for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. She also serves on the board of directors for the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York City’s Prep for Prep and The New York City Police Foundation.
Oden is a graduate of James Madison University and holds an MBA from Hampton University.
