Mount Family Group, Ltd., the Burlington-based franchisee of Westaff Workforce Solutions and Remedy Intelligent Staffing, has hired Jill Marsano as its Chief Financial Officer. Marsano joined the company in March and is working at the corporate headquarters in Burlington, VT. In her new position, Marsano will be responsible for the financial management, marketing, and other business functions of the franchised business.
Marsano brings over 16 years of experience in finance, marketing, and operations as the former Chief Financial Officer and Director of Marketing at Aldrich + Elliott, PC, a water resources engineering firm in Essex, VT. During her years at Aldrich + Elliott, Marsano directed the firm's focus on strategic brand recognition, relationship building, and financial management. Her efforts successfully led the company to achieve a Vermont Business Magazine 5x5x5 growth award in 2010 and expand its market presence in New Hampshire.
Additionally, Marsano serves as the president-elect of the Society of Marketing Professionals Northern New England Chapter, a not-for-profit organization furthering the education and networking of marketing professionals in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. As a member of the board, she leads initiatives for the chapter, including planning and organizing of programs, events and meetings, recruiting members, increasing sponsorship, and representing the chapter at programs and networking events.
