Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Matthew Harder, Vergennes, VT has joined VHFA as Staff Accountant.
Matt is a recent graduate of the Community College of Vermont and is on course to be awarded a second degree, an AS in accounting, this July.
Located in the heart of downtown Burlington, VHFA is a socially responsible employer with approximately 38 employees.
VHFA is a non-profit agency created in 1974 by the Vermont Legislature to finance and promote affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income Vermonters. Since its inception, the Agency has helped approximately 28,000 Vermont households with affordable mortgages and financed the development of approximately 8,600 affordable rental units.
