Ledyard National Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of two long time employees.
Betty Benson, Central Operations Officer, has been promoted to Vice President. She began her Ledyard career in February, 1997, in its Operations group. She steadily accepted new and varied responsibilities and eventually was promoted to manager of the department. She is responsible for overseeing the central operations functions, wire transfer processing, item processing and loan servicing. She supervises a staff of six full time employees.
Gail Broughton, Norwich Banking Office Manager, has been promoted to Vice President. She is one of the original Ledyard employees. She joined the bank on April 1, 1991, and has been managing the Norwich banking office since 1996. In her role, Gail is responsible for new business development as well as day to day operations of the Norwich banking office.
