Laura Chevalier, Molly Epstein (pictured) and Heidi Upton have been elected to the board of directors of the Junior League of Champlain Valley, an organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training.
Chevalier, a registered nurse at Porter Pediatrics Primary Care in Middlbury, serves as the board's vice president of community projects. She has been a member of the Junior League since 2022 and lives in Ferrisburgh.
Epstein, award acceptance officer in sponsored project administration at the University of Vermont, is the board's president-elect. She has been a member of the Junior League since 2022 and lives in Colchester.
Upton, vice president of employee experience at the strategic communications firm Porter Novelli, serves as the board's vice president of membership. She has been a member of JLCV since 2022 and lives in Shelburne.
“The Junior League of Champlain Valley has been working to make positive change in the Greater Burlington area for nearly 40 years,” said JLCV President Sarah Aceves. “We are thrilled to welcome Laura, Molly and Heidi to the JLCV board as we continue our mission and focus on affordable living as it relates to housing costs, transportation, health care and food security.”
