Aida Volpone, CPA has joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs as a Supervisor specializing in nonprofit accounting, auditing, and tax. Aida graduated from Nichols College in Dudley, MA with a Bachelor degree in Accounting. Most recently, Aida spent six years as the Director of Finance for a national nonprofit venture philanthropy fund where she oversaw all accounting, record keeping, budgeting, and financial reporting efforts in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Federal/state compliance requirements.
Her experience also includes positions held at one of Massachusetts largest Community Health Centers, as well as a public accounting firm where she specialized in audits for nonprofit organizations working in community health, education, and youth development.
Aida will be operating from the firm’s Rutland location and servicing the firm’s clients throughout Vermont. She currently resides in Rutland, VT.
