Each year, the Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORSR (NVBR) recognizes REALTORSR who stand out among real estate agents in our industry and local community. Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman Realty is proud to congratulate two of our RealtorsR who received prestigious honors.
The NVBR announced that Louise Merriam will receive the 2009 Good Neighbor Award recognizing outstanding community, civic, and charitable involvement. Louise has been tireless in her commitment to providing food, support, and awareness for COTS. Louise is also involved with the Flynn Center Garden Tour, the Refugee Resettlement Program, and numerous other community organizations. "Louise exudes a passion and commitment to these causes that inspires others to get involved," says Leslee MacKenzie, President/Owner of Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman Realty. "Louise's dedication goes beyond a volunteer role to one that demonstrates her belief that we all have a responsibility to better our community and the lives of others."
NVBR also recognized a newcomer to the REALTORR profession who demonstrates enthusiasm, leadership and professionalism in their career and their community. NVBR has announced this year's Rookie of the Year is Stella Abraham. Stella began her Vermont Real Estate career in 2008 at Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman Realty. She currently ranks in the top 10% year to date, within the Company and in the top 25% for NVBR in her first year. Stella has embraced the real estate profession utilizing technology and social networking to drive her business - not to mention old fashioned hard work. "Stella is the epitome of the REALTOR Young Professional," says Annemarie Daniels, Principal Broker and Vice President of Agent Services with Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman Realty. "Stella has the ability to maximize all of the tools at her disposal from educational opportunities to social networking on-line as well as in the traditional sense. She thinks creatively and executes her vision with ease."
