Chief of the National Guard Bureau visits soldiers and airmen of Vermont National Guard

The Vermont National Guard announced that General Frank Grass, Chief of the National Guard Bureau spent Saturday May 2, 2015 with the soldiers and airmen of the Vermont National Guard.

The Vermont Army National Guard received General Grass at and his official party at the 158th Fighter Wing recently.

General Grass visited the 131st Engineers, 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Mountain), met with students at the Regional Training Institute, staff of Family Programs, and presented the Army National Guard Distinguished Aviation Safety Award. General Grass also hosted a Town Hall style meeting with soldiers and airmen at the 158th Fighter Wing.

The Army National Guard Distinguished Aviation Safety Award was presented to Vermont for 40 years of aviation safety.
