Samantha Alger, PhD, joins VHB's Natural Sciences team in South Burlington, Vermont, as an Environmental Scientist/Pollinator Specialist. She brings a decade of experience in applied ecological science, incorporating research, education, and outreach to improve the health of managed and wild bees. From spearheading Vermont's involvement with the National Honey Bee Survey, to studying how viruses spread between bee species, to running a small apiary from her home, Samantha is passionate about all things pollinator. Samantha's experience in pollinator ecology will promote environmental stewardship and bring added value to clients throughout our footprint.
