Vermont Green Building Network (VGBN) is delighted to announce that Brian Just has been elected as the new VGBN Board President as of February 1, 2019. Brian works on a variety of energy efficiency initiatives at VEIC and supervises the team of energy consultants who implement Efficiency Vermont's Residential New Construction program. He enjoys exploring the numerous co-benefits of efficiency, from thermal comfort to health, water, and carbon impacts.

Brian is a mechanical engineer by trade who, after beginning his career designing and installing testing equipment used in water-wave and aerodynamics research, slowly shifted his focus to energy and indoor air quality. He is RESNET, Passive House, and LEED AP (Homes) accredited, and is a Living Building Challenge Ambassador Presenter. Brian is committed to serving Vermont's design and construction community as its members pave the way to a future of highly efficient, healthy, durable buildings.

Founded in 2002, the Vermont Green Building Network is a non-profit working with the building industry to achieve its vision of fostering green building in Vermont, thereby contributing to a thriving local economy, a healthy environment and high quality of life in all communities.
