The Vermont Democratic Party has announced the hiring of Liam O'Sullivan as House campaign director and Justin Srsic as Senate caucus director. In these roles, they will be working closely with House and Senate Democratic leadership as well as the party to prepare and execute successful campaigns in 2024.
O’Sullivan comes with years of experience in fundraising, advocacy and organizing at the Vermont Public Interest Research Group. He was operations director for VPIRG Canvass for three years and directed the ground-game for VPIRG Votes during the 2020 and 2022 election cycles.
Srsic has been heavily involved with the Vermont Democratic Party, working as a field organizer for Chittenden County during the 2022 elections, and later as municipal organizing director for both the 2022 Burlington City Council special election and the 2023 Burlington City Council election.
"We're thrilled to have Liam and Justin joining our team for the 2024 election cycle," said party chair Daivd Glidden. "Liam brings with him a strong record of grassroots work around Vermont and a deep understanding of Vermont's communities. Justin has been an invaluable asset to the campaign team during the 2022 and 2023 elections, and he's the perfect person to help us protect and expand our Senate caucus."
