Small Dog Electronics has announced the hiring of Dawn D’Angelillo as director of marketing. As the director of marketing, Dawn will create and implement marketing and communications plans and sales strategies in collaboration with web development staff, retail, and sales departments.
D’Angelillo is not unfamiliar with Small Dog Electronics, as she served as the company’s original director of marketing from 1998 to 2006 when she helped Small Dog become the largest Apple Specialist in New England through her specialty: web-based marketing.
“Dawn originally joined Small Dog as our fourth employee when the company was still based out of my own house,” said Don Mayer, CEO and ‘Top Dog’ of Small Dog Electronics. “Her efforts over the years helped Small Dog grow tremendously, and we’re excited that she’s working with us again.”
During her time away from Small Dog, Dawn worked part-time with a local architect and as the technology coordinator for the Warren School in Warren, Vermont. As technology coordinator, Dawn shared her love of computers and technology with students from kindergarten to sixth grade as well as the schools’ teachers.
Prior to joining Small Dog the first time, D’Angelillo served as the national sales manager for Mad River Canoe. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from the University of Montana and should have no issues in an animal-friendly office. Dawn currently resides in New Haven and competes in equestrian events in her free time.
Small Dog Electronics, New England's top Apple Specialist and reseller and a leading Apple Specialist in the US, was founded in 1995 by the father-and-son team of Don and Hapy Mayer. Small Dog is a socially and environmentally responsible company and employer.
