Scott Rogers, former community development manager in Burlington's Community and Economic Development Office, has been named director of development and communications at Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity.

In his new role, Rogers will manage the external affairs of the organization, including fundraising, grant writing and communication strategy. He will oversee a team of three in marketing, volunteering and development.

“We’re excited to have Scott on board,” said CEO David Mullin. “Scott is already engaged in the affordable housing efforts in his community, and we are excited to see how he can bring his talents to this position.”
