OneCare Vermont, an accountable care organization that partners with health care providers to transform the state’s health care system, has elected Anya Rader Wallack as chair and Tom Huebner as vice chair of its board of managers.
Wallack, senior vice president for strategic communications at the University of Vermont Health Network, will take her seat on the board in May. She succeeds John Brumsted, MD, who will step down as board chair at the April meeting.
Huebner, a current board member and former president of Rutland Regional Medical Center, will fill a newly formalized vice chair role beginning in April.
“OneCare is well represented and informed by the breadth of experience our board members bring to some of the most pressing issues in health care delivery,” said Chief Executive Officer Vicki Loner. “Anya and Tom bring a deep knowledge of health systems and policy reform and are committed to working toward improved health and well-being of Vermonters and our communities.”
