Bret Williams, President and CEO of Green Mountain Beverage, announces the following new hires to the Woodchuck Cidery in Middlebury, Vermont where the nation’s leading hard cider, Woodchuck Hard Cider, is handcrafted.
Chad Fleury, a resident of Hancock, has been named Maintenance Manager, overseeing and managing all aspects of Woodchuck Cidery maintenance. With over 14 years of maintenance experience, Fleury spent the last 9 with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
John County has been named Northeast Sales Director, responsible for overseeing Vermont, New York, and New England markets and wholesalers. County was most recently with Beverage Alliance, the importing company for Carlsberg and other European beers. County resides in southern New England.
East Middlebury resident, Cyrus Smith, has joined the second shift sanitation team. Randolph resident Dominic Yetz and Salisbury resident Ralph Scarpa, have both joined the second shift production team. Jeff Laberge, also of Salisbury, has been hired as Material Handler.
Green Mountain Beverage has also promoted the following part time employees to full time production team positions: Lynn Bascom of Middlebury, James Jackson of Salisbury, Tammy Johnson of Leicester, Sean Mayo of Middlebury, Caitlin Sheldon of Monkton
