NEFCU announces three new hires

New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) President and CEO John Dwyer recently announced the hiring of three new employees.

Patrick Calecas joined NEFCU on February 8, 2010 as Business Loan Officer. Patrick resides in Montgomery, VT and brings more than 20 years of commercial banking and lending experience to the position, having served with banking institutions in Connecticut and Vermont. He will join NEFCU’s other Business Loan Officer, Rob Wheeler.

Greg Hahr joined NEFCU on February 16, 2010 as Mortgage Manager. Greg is a Starksboro, VT resident with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the mortgage industry. His experience spans the spectrum of originations, pricing, operations, servicing and management. Since 1989, Greg has served as a manager, consultant and most recently an owner and operator of a local mortgage company.

Bill Smith, a Shelburne resident and graduate of the University of Vermont, joined NEFCU on March 1, 2010 as Senior Retail Delivery Executive. Bill’s extensive operational, branch, and lending experience position him well to manage NEFCU’s branch, remote delivery, telebranch, business development, collections, and member solutions. He serves on the Town of Shelburne Select Board.
