The Vermont Department of Labor has hired Rachel Dumeny as its communications and outreach coordinator to serve as the immediate media contact for the commissioner’s office. Dumeny will further the department’s goal of educating and informing the public on the variety of supports and services available to workers and employers.
“We’re excited to add Rachel to our team and look forward to furthering our engagement with the public to build Vermont’s workforce and support workers and businesses around the state,” Labor Commissioner Michael Harrington said.
Dumeny, a native of Franklin County, is a recent graduate of the University of Vermont. She has a professional background that includes experience in social media marketing strategy and community outreach.
