The Vermont Specialty Food Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the growth and success of Vermont's specialty food and beverage producers, has promoted Director of Membership and Development Karin Cioffi to the role of executive director.
In her expanded role, Cioffi will focus on strategic initiatives to strengthen and grow the association. Her vision and leadership will be instrumental in furthering the VSFA's mission of fostering innovation and collaboration within the state's specialty food and beverage sector.
"I am thrilled that the VSFA has taken the next step in growing our organization with the hiring of Karin Cioffi as our very first executive director," said VFSA board member Mark Elvidge. "Karin brings a level of energy and enthusiasm that we need to increase our membership and outreach goals over the coming years."
Prior to her tenure at the specialty food association, Cioffi served for nearly a decade as general manager of J. Morgan's Steakhouse in Montpelier, where she honed her leadership skills and developed a strong passion for the local food scene.
