Encore Renewable Energy, a full-service community-scale renewable energy development company based in Burlington, announced new leadership of its project development team. Ralph Meima joined the company as vice president of project development, and Jake Clark was promoted from project developer to vice president of project development. Together, they will support the development of over 80 megawatts of solar and energy storage assets over the next year as Encore expands its geographic reach outside of the Northeast.
Meima has been a local renewable energy advocate via the Brattleboro Energy Committee. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins University and a doctorate in management from Lund University in Sweden.
Clark, who joined Encore in 2019, has advanced Encore’s clean energy projects from inception through development, to the EPC phase, successfully developing more than 35 MW of solar and storage projects in Vermont alone. He is a graduate of Bucknell University and holds a law degree from The George Washington University Law School.
