"It's an honor to have been appointed Winooski's next city manager," Wang said in a release. "There's so much about the city to love, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to better understand and serve its community members.”

Wang has held the assistant town manager post in Barre since 2016. Prior to that, she held several positions at Sustainable Communities in Montpelier, including climate and environment program assistant and officer; international program officer; and senior program officer.

Wang is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and holds master's degree from Norwich University (in public administration) and the University of Vermont (natural resources).
