E4H is excited to announce a new team of clinically trained advisors. Advisors will engage with client’s clinical teams guiding them through the necessary steps to prepare for the first patient. E4H’s Clinical Operations Advisory Services include operational flow, transition planning, medical equipment strategy, licensing, and accreditation. E4H has appointed Kelly Byrd, RN, MBA to lead these efforts.
With nearly 40 years of nursing experience, Kelly is a healthcare executive focused on improving the patient experience by implementing clinical best practices and cost-efficient operations. Kelly has been involved in the development of numerous surgery centers across the nation, including ground-up new facilities, replacement facilities, expansions, and renovations of existing facilities.
Kelly previously worked for 20 years as Vice President of Development for United Surgical Partners in Project Management. Kelly earned a BSN at Baylor University and an MBA in Healthcare from the University of Dallas. She is a current member of Nursing Institute of Healthcare Design and was a member of the American Operating Rooms Nurses Association for 38 years.
E4H welcomes Jeff Schantz, AIA, NCARB, as the Director of Health Sciences + Technology. Jeff is a recognized thought leader, with over 30 years of experience designing landmark facilities for college and universities, research institutions, federal government agencies, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical clients all over the world. His expertise includes facilities for convergence science, biomedical, engineering, aerospace, applied sciences, high containment biosafety, public health, nanotechnology, academic medical centers, animal facilities, materials sciences, cleanrooms, and teaching labs.
