The DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington has named Sanel Masic as 2012 Employee of the Year. He joined the hotel in 2011 and duties include those of Night Auditor, Front Desk Agent and Housekeeping Supervisor. Rick Milliken, General Manager of the hotel cited a number of criteria for the award which included outstanding guest service, maintaining the highest quality of hotel standards, accurately performing auditing and cashier reconciliation, and working with team members throughout the hotel.
A native of Bosnia, Masic attends Community College of Vermont in the Business Management program. He was previously employed as Night Auditor at the Best Western Hotel and is a resident of South Burlington.
The national award-winning DoubleTree Burlington has 130 deluxe guest rooms, 33 luxury suites, 6,000 square feet of meeting space, and operates Trader Duke’s restaurant.
