Community Bank NA announces promotion of Germann

Community Bank NA is pleased to announce the promotion of Geoffrey Germann to municipal banking officer in its government banking department. In his new role, Germann will be responsible for managing and growing the municipal banking customer base in designated markets. He has been with Community Bank NA since 2016 and most recently served as branch manager of the Essex Junction location. Prior, he spent time with Dartmouth-Hitchcock as assistant buyer.

Outside of the office, Germann is active in his community. He participates in many community events, including Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night, Special Olympics Vermont’s Penguin Plunge and the ETD Leatherneck Scramble.

Germann earned his bachelor’s degree in technical electronics from Thomas Edison State University while serving with the U.S. Navy. He resides in Essex.
