VT/NH Marketing Group co-founder and past president George Duncan of Peterborough, N.H., has been named to The 101 Best Copywriters in the World. The list was compiled by PhraseHQ, a website for creative professionals.
Duncan’s copywriting career spans 50 years from Esquire Magazine in 1960 to Kennedy Information in 2008 and features more than a dozen national awards, including the VTNHMG’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 1998 he, together with colleagues Bob Sabloff and Larry Chait, co-founded the Vermont-New Hampshire Marketing Group (then Direct Marketing Group), which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The nonprofit organization offers networking and affordable education to marketers in Vermont and New Hampshire and beyond.
Following a 50-year career in direct marketing, Duncan currently provides marketing copy for non-fiction books and media. He also blogs regularly about media and marketing.
