Vermont Chamber welcomes new business outreach director

Emma Henderson, former training coordinator at the Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery, has been named business outreach director at the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. In her new role, Henderson will engage with businesses statewide, directing programs for membership recruitment and retention efforts and managing membership education and benefit programs. She will also serve as the liaison for businesses to the chamber’s five-person lobbying team.

“Emma will fill a vital role here at the Vermont Chamber, strengthening connections with our existing members while also engaging new businesses across the state,” Vermont Chamber President Betsy Bishop said. “By bringing new energy and a fresh perspective to the role, Emma is sure to be a valuable resource for the Vermont businesses community.”

Henderson is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a master's degree in leadership from Norwich University. Prior to joining VAMHAR, she served as senior associate director of strategic admissions at Norwich University.
