Madison Wood, former graduate training program manager at BNP Paribas in New York City, has joined Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility as membership and development manager.
In her new role, Wood develops and implements VBSR’s strategic approach to membership recruitment, retention and engagement in addition to fundraising for the organization’s Expanding Our Movement Fund.
Wood, a native of New York with Vermont roots, brings to VBSR a blended background in sustainable business, marketing, finance, stakeholder engagement and talent development. In her various roles at BNP Paribas, a global bank committed to making a sustainable and inclusive contribution to the environmental, societal, technological and economic challenges of our time, Wood developed curricula, produced speaker series and philanthropic events, managed recruiting and training programs, and streamlined various global enterprise processes.
Wood is a graduate of Champlain College and holds an MBA in sustainable innovation from the University of Vermont.
