Every year, two members of the School of Business Administration's faculty are awarded "Teacher of the Year" by the graduating class. Professor Allison Kingsley was honored with the undergraduate award, Professor Willy Cats-Baril was given the graduate award.
"(Professor Kingsley) truly cares about each and every one of her students," Katy Wood, president of the Student Advisory Committee, told the crowd. "She expects a lot but knows our potential and challenges us to strive for success. Her own strength and dedication can be seen each class as she stood in front of us on crutches and in a cast, always enthusiastic, always engaging, always ready with a pop quiz."
"(Professor Cats-Baril's) breadth of knowledge over various industries and subjects is simply impressive," said Garin Murphy, president of the MBA Association. "When he is not traveling on business, publishing, jet-setting, or embarking on a new adventure, we are lucky enough to have him as a professor."
Dr. Kingsley teaches BSAD 191 - Strategy and Competition. She joined the School of Business in Fall 2010.
Dr. Cats-Baril teaches BSAD 192 - Business Process Improvement and BSAD 345 - Management Information Systems. He has been at the School of Business since Fall 1982.
