Timothy L. Cope, receives the 2013 B.H. Zais Award

Timothy L. Cope, Investment Advisor Representative and Insurance Broker with the Fleischer Jacobs Group recently received the B.H. Zais award from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of Vermont (NAIFA-VT). The B.H. Zais Award salutes that member of NAIFA-VT who, over a period of time, has made distinguished and memorable contributions to society, to the community, and to the life insurance profession.

Established in 1971 in honor of Past President Bernard H. Zais, this award represents the highest recognition the Association can bestow on one of its members. Nominations for the award may be made by any member of the Association; the recipient is chosen by committee. The citation presented with the award reads:

For meritorious service and unselfish devotion to society and fellow-man and for the advancement of the highest ideals and principles of the profession of life underwriting through sales and service of life and health insurance products.

Cope has been active in the NAIFA-VT organization for several years. He entered the insurance industry in 1982, founded his own firm, Cope Insurance Agency, Inc. then joined Fleischer Jacobs Group in 1996. His concentration is on individuals and businesses, working to help meet their Life, Disability, Long Term Care and Investment needs.
