Hunger Free Vermont, Vermont’s leading anti-hunger organization working to end the injustice of hunger and malnutrition for all Vermonters, is pleased to announce that Monica Taylor has stepped into the role of Development Director for the organization. Monica has acted as the Donor Relations Manager for Hunger Free Vermont since March 2013, managing individual donations and corporate sponsorship.
“Monica has grown our individual and business donations portfolio substantially since she was hired as Donor Relations Manager in 2013,” remarks Anore Horton, Acting Executive Director for Hunger Free Vermont, “We are excited to be able to offer her the role of Development Director so she can continue doing the work at which she excels, while managing the full scope of our fundraising portfolio and joining our leadership team.”
Before coming to Hunger Free Vermont, Monica was the Special Events and Community Outreach Coordinator at Spectrum Youth & Family Services in Burlington. She has over 20 years of experience in marketing and development and is an expert in the field.
