Brett Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer of One Credit Union, has announced the appointment of Judith Soules as their new Chief Financial Officer. Judy assumed responsibilities on May 29th. “The combination of Judy’s specific banking experience with her high energy level is a great fit with our team. I am delighted to have found everything we were looking for in one outstanding manager!”
Judy has over twenty years’ financial management experience, working successfully to integrate the efforts of diverse departments toward unified goals. She has also managed Marketing, Sales, HR, IT and Operations helping her teams to work together strategically to advance the vision and mission of her organization, while optimizing financial results. “I’m excited to join the team at One CU. We are poised to achieve high growth over the next decade; I look forward to making many contributions to our continued success!”
Most recently, Judy has spent the last eight years in banking as CFO at Edgartown National Bank and Randolph National Bank. Judy received her undergraduate degrees from Cedarville University in Ohio, and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Judy enjoys hiking and camping in Vermont and has served on her town’s budget committee, PTA, and Community Development Corporation boards. For over ten years, Judy has also been actively involved in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, providing free tax preparation assistance to eligible low-to middle-income and senior Vermonters. In her few years out of state she served in her local Chamber and CEO (Creative Entrepreneurs with Opportunities) including teaching classes to small business owners with a focus on financing methods and optimizing results at each phase of a business life cycle. Judy currently resides in Springfield, VT.
