Burlington announced its long-time Executive Director, Pam Fenimore, has left the organization. The Charity is forming a search committee to find new leadership. The Board also announced that the current House Manager, Amy Sabourin, is serving as Acting Executive Director. “The Board of Directors is so grateful for Pam Fenimore’s many years of service as a stalwart supporter and advocate for the House that Love Built,” said Monica Smith, Board President. Fenimore began as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House in 1983, and later she became House Manager. She ascended to the position of Executive Director in 1988 and under her leadership the organization established the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Vermont Children’s Hospital at Fletcher Allen in 2002 as well as the RonaldMcDonald Care Mobile 2009. During her tenure, Pam led countless fundraising efforts and volunteer recognition events, including the recent celebration marking the House’s 30 years in Burlington. “

The Ronald McDonald Family Room, an extension of the Ronald McDonald House provides a home-like setting in the Vermont Children’s Hospital at Fletcher Allen Health Care for families of hospitalized children.
