Red River expands enterprise group

Red River announced three strategic hires immediately augmenting its presence in the Northeast enterprise market. Rick Scott, former Business Development Manager at Windstream and Jon Provost, former Account Manager at Level 3 Communications have joined the team as regional Account Executives. Sebastian Szykier formerly working with Simplex Grinnell / Tyco has also joined as a Solutions Architect focusing on designing and deploying networking and datacenter solutions.

Mr. Scott has over 20 years experience in the IT field including an extensive background in Telecommunications. His sales experience, knowledge of the region, and commitment to solving business challenges for clients make him a welcomed asset to the expanding team. Rick will be responsible for Account development and management in New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and Northern Massachusetts accounts.

Mr. Provost was born and raised in Vermont and has worked with Enterprise accounts throughout the state for over 15 years. He is adept at discussing technology solutions for business transformation. “I like to draw from my knowledge and experience while leveraging available technologies to positively impact companies and significantly improve their ability to achieve business goals” Provost said. Mr. Provost will actively develop and manage accounts in Vermont and Upstate New York.

The hiring of Mr. Szykier firmly establishes Red River as the leading source for enterprise network and datacenter solutions in the Northeast. With extensive experience in LAN/WAN design, security protocols, and virtualization projects Mr. Szykier will add depth and breadth to Red River’s engineering team.

Red River’s rapid growth in the Northeast Enterprise market is perfectly timed as smaller, niche companies are struggling to serve the geography with the level of expertise and solution depth necessary for today’s clients. “We see a great opportunity to immediately bring technology information and expertise to a market that has been traditionally underserved by full service IT Solution Providers, “ said Dan McGee SVP, Operations. “We are a regional company with expansive resources. It’s nice to live and work in this market and to have the ability to deliver services that transform businesses through carefully architected technology solutions.”
