VHB has announced that Rachel Marvin, PE will join its South Burlington, VT office as a Project Engineer. Rachel joins the Vermont office’s burgeoning Land Development group, where she will focus on civil/site, stormwater, utility, and construction inspection and oversight projects. Her knowledge and experience will bolster the services currently offered by VHB’s Land Development team, and enhance our ability to meet all our client’s needs.
Rachel graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Civil Engineering. She is a Professional Engineer in Vermont, with over 10 years of experience. Rachel has worked on a wide variety of projects for clients including private developers, municipalities, regional planning commissions, and state agencies. She is experienced in water resources engineering (waterline, sewerline, stormwater, and civil/site projects), construction engineering/project management (bid phase services through final completion), resident engineering (construction site observation and field testing), final design engineering (technical drawings and specifications, cost estimates and permits) and preliminary design engineering (hydraulic and hydrologic models, capacity assessments, feasibility analyses and reports).
