President & CEO named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010

Mobile Medical International Corporation, based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, has announced that Rick Cochran, President & CEO is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 Award in New England. According to Ernst & Young LLP, the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Mr. Cochran was selected as a finalist from nearly 80 nominees by a panel of independent judges. Initial selection was chosen through a written application, followed by a site visit culminating in a final formal interview by a panel of judges in Boston last week. As an entrepreneur, Cochran will be recognized at a special gala event on June 24, 2010 at the Boston Renaissance Waterfront Hotel where a number of MMIC employees will be invited to attend.

Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year« is the world's most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. The award makes a difference through the unique way it encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential and recognizes the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. The Ernst & Young award is preceded by Mobile Medical International Corporation being awarded the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) Innovation Award in 2009 and the prestige of being nominated in 1999 for the Computerworld Smithsonian Award in recognition of its visionary use of information technology in the field of medicine.

Regional finalists, including Cochran, are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year« national program in Palm Springs, California on November 13, 2010. The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation's most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
