Lucero Mullins, a universal banker at Union Bank of Vermont and New Hampshire, has been promoted to branch manager of the Johnson office at 198 Lower West Main St. She will succeed Karen Carter, who is retiring in early June after 18 years of service — the last five as branch manager.

“We are thrilled to have Lucero move into the role as our Johnson branch manager,” said President and CEO David Silverman. “Lucero is very driven, possesses excellent customer-service skills and knows the local banking landscape, having worked out of our Jeffersonville office for close to five years.”

Prior to joining Union Bank, Mullins worked in the banking industry in Peru.

“I’ve meet so many wonderful people working at Union Bank,” Mullins said. “I am excited to take on this leadership role, support our customers and continue to grow my career with Union Bank.”
