Scott Johnstone, former New England energy market leader at VHB, has joined Morrisville Water & Light as general manager. He succeeds Penny Jones, who will return to her passion of accounting as MW&L's controller.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the MW&L team,” said Johnstone. “This is a dynamic time in the electric utility space, and as our energy landscape changes, I look forward to working to enhance environmental quality, the use of renewable resources and the sustainability of MW&L while retaining our commitment to reliable, affordable service.”
Johnstone serves on the boards of the Vermont National Resources Council, the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships and the DesignLights Consortium, and is a corporator of Northfield Savings Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine.
