Meg O'Brien of Stowe, principal of client service at Champlain Investment Partners, and Paige Church of Wenham, Massachusetts, a self-employed neonatologist and developmental behavioral pediatrician, have been elected to the board of trustees at Lund, a social services agency in Burlington. The board also named current trustees Lucy Abair, Julio Thompson and Darren Springer to its executive committee, beginning in July.

O'Brien has worked at Champlain Investment, in Burlington, since 2010. Prior to joining Champlain, she worked in operations management and customer service with Destination Hotels and Resorts. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Church graduated from medical school at UVM College of Medicine and went on to train in pediatrics at the University of Chicago. She then did a dual fellowship in both neonatal perinatal medicine and developmental behavioral pediatrics at Tufts University. This unique combination brought Church to Canada, where she was an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Toronto, and then to Harvard Medical School, working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital.

"Meg and Paige bring important new expertise to the Lund board, and Lucy, Julio and Darren bring proven commitment to Lund’s mission. I’m excited to work with them to support Lund staff to continue helping the Vermonters we serve find hope, opportunity and family," said board chair Maurine Gilbert.
