Lisa Cueman image chosen as official artwork of the 2016 Vermont Summer Festival

Lisa Cueman of Lisa Cueman Photography has announced that one of her images has been chosen to be the official artwork of the 2016 Vermont Summer Festival. The festival is held from July 5th through August 14th and offer a variety of events throughout the six weeks which will be held during the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00m pm. For further detailed information about the show visit their site at www.vt-summerfestival.com.

The candid image depicts a moment of a horse & rider competing from a Summer Festival several years ago. The image will be featured on the cover of the 2016 event program and posters. This photo captures what the Vermont Summer Festival is all about. The iconic blue and white tents with the mountains in the background are a symbol for the show. Lisa's work is really all about the horse, and she doesn't look for what some people might think makes a complete picture. The angle she took this photo at really engages you and gives a true sense of the athleticism of the horse in the photo.

Lisa's passion for horses started at a very young age growing up in Bermuda. She's spent years training and competing and after retiring she returned back to her love of photography, where she then combined two of her loves; horses and being behind the camera. Lisa's endeavors have taken her to many beautiful locations and she now resides in Dorset, Vermont which is right down the street from the Vermont Summer Festival.

Lisa's photograph chosen to represent the show is something she holds as a high honor. She has been part of the Vermont Summer Festival for years, starting out as a volunteer and over the years has watched the show bloom into the incredible experience it has become.

To view more of Lisa's work head on over to Helmholz Fine Art Gallery in Manchester, VT where you can see some select images printed large scale. She is also being featured in a 2 person show at the gallery from July 16th through August 16th.
