Angela Lavalla, who has previously served as technical design manager, has been promoted to director of product development at The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. In this new role, Lavalla will lead the development of all products across the company's Teddy Bear brand, and apparel brands.
Lavalla has served in the technical design department since 2014 and has seen the company through its growth since that time. Prior to Vermont Teddy Bear, she was a costume designer for film and television in Los Angeles.
She holds a biology degree from the University of Vermont and a degree in TV and film costume design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
