Jonathan Slason rejoins RSG’s transportation engineering practice

Jonathan Slason recently rejoined RSG, bringing over ten years of experience in a wide range of transportation planning and engineering efforts—including impact fees and other innovative finance and revenue mechanisms, corridor and townwide management plans, and detailed traffic operational assessments. In his role as a Senior Engineer at RSG, Mr. Slason will provide project leadership with a focus on long-range planning, project scoping, and traffic operations for public and private clients. Mr. Slason returns to RSG after working as a senior transportation engineer for Beca, an international engineering company based in New Zealand. During his time at Beca, he acted as a project manager and lead technical advisor on several high-profile transportation infrastructure projects in addition to leading a number of operational assessments, including detailed designs and problem solving of complex transportation situations. He was recognized for his talent by being invited to participate in Beca’s internal leadership program. “It is extremely rewarding to have an accomplished staff member such as Jon return to RSG. Mr. Slason holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Civil Engineering and Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Vermont.
