WCAX-TV announced today that Matt Henson will become the news station's New York reporter based out of Plattsburgh.
“Matt has shaped our newscasts as producer and assignment editor and we are delighted he will be taking his skills to the field as a reporter,” said WCAX-TV News Director Anson Tebbetts.
Henson added, “I've been fortunate to have visited New York often, and can't wait to begin reporting there full time. I am looking forward to spending time with the people of the North Country and telling their stories.
Henson, who has been with WCAX-TV for six years, is originally from Philadelphia. He is a graduate of Lyndon State College and currently resides in South Burlington.
WCAX-TV is the CBS affiliate in Burlington, VT and is owned and operated by Mt. Mansfield Television, Inc.
